Saw 6 – Saw VI Saw 5 brought some incredible revelations. And even if the disdainful critics spit on the movie franchise fans know better and the Saw movies are still performing quite well in theaters.
I’d even say that the Saw movies have become part of a tradition: hard to imagine Halloween with a Saw movie and Jigsaw’s traps!
So, I’m quite glad that Lionsgate confirmed Saw 6. The movie Saw VI should be released on October 23, 2009.
Kevin GreutertA bit sad that Director David Hackl is handing over to Kevin Greutert (that’s him on the pic). But I don’t worry for the continuity of the Saw movie franchise because Kevin Greutert was editor on every Saw movie to date: so he isn’t a newcomer, and will respect the previous Saw movies. Also Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, who wrote Saws 4 and 5, are working on the Saw 6 screenplay.
In Saw 6, Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) will still be taunting us beyond death. And his twisted disciple Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) shall be there too. Both Tobin Bell and Costas Mandylor have indeed signed for the sixth opus of Saw.
No hint about the plot yet. But rumors are that the fate of Dr Gordon (Cary Elwes) from Saw 1 could be revealed in Saw VI.
The traps set in the Saw movies are damn twisted! What kind of trap would you like to see in the movie Saw 6 for Halloween 2009? Any idea?

I personally would love to castration in there, like a guys balls are tied to the back of the car by a long rope, and guy is tied to the tree, in order for him to get out, he has to unlock it. There is a key is in his uretha and he only has 1 minute to unlock the chain beofre the car takes off.
